Celluma is a light therapy device originally developed by NASA and use for treating wrinkles, pigment discoloration, mildly uneven or scared skin, acne and pain conditions.
Celluma helps compromised cells regenerate. It increases the production of collagen and elastin to improve skin health and appearance and also increases blood circulation and decreases inflammation to alleviate pain. Specifically, Celluma delivers blue, red and near-infrared light energy simultaneously to safely treat a wide variety of conditions.
Each Celluma Light session lasts 30 minutes and is used either sitting or lying down depending upon the area of your body that you are treating. One of the key benefits of the light’s design is its ability to mold and conform to specific areas of the body.
Most people feel or see an improvement with one or two uses.
There is little or no sensation when using Celluma Light Therapy. Celluma helps tissue heal naturally from the inside out and after treatment, you should feel a sense of rejuvenation and decreased pain.
For best results, the light therapy of Celluma needs to be in close proximity to the area being treated. That may mean rolling up your sleeve or pants as well as removing any makeup (for facial treatments) to ensure nothing will deflect the light away from the skin.
It increases the production of collagen & elastin, increases blood circulation and decreases inflammation.
For treatment of acne and acne scarring, most clients receive a 30-minute treatment twice a week for four weeks depending on their individual needs. Those who are seeking skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction often receive a 30-minute treatment three times a week for four weeks and continue seeing results up to 12 weeks after their last treatment! Specifically when it comes to wrinkles, those pesky lines didn’t show up overnight (thankfully!) but that means they won’t go away overnight either. For optimum results, recommended duration and frequency should be followed.
