What challenges brought you to Degree Wellness?
I was getting chronically fatigued at the end of the day. You know, the morning hours, mid afternoon, I was feeling pretty good, but then, you know, right after lunchtime I would lose energy. I would lose focus, and this felt like something was missing. I wasn’t able to think clearly, I had brain fog, and if I had a workout in the afternoon, it was never any good. So I was really looking for something to just boost my energy and my focus.
Tell us about your first Degree Wellness experience.
The first time I came in, I had no idea what to expect. I just knew that I was gonna get wet and that it was gonna be cold. But the staff here at Degree did a phenomenal job in explaining the benefits. They took me to the cold plunge room, and they even provided clothes so I didn’t have to get my own stuff wet. They explained it would take about three to five minutes, and it was. I got wet and it was really, really cold, but the feeling that I got afterwards was almost euphoric. It was just this clearing of my mind and this release of stress that I didn’t even know I was carrying.
What’s your current wellness routine?
My Degree Wellness routine consists of always, always two to three times a week at least. I have to hit the cold plunge in the morning. It really gets things going before I go about the hard part of my day, that meaty part where I need my mind to be thinking the best. I have to cold plunge before that. In addition to that, I hit the red light therapy in the afternoons, probably two to three times a week. And then when I’m feeling like I’ve got the time and I need the focus, I’ll do the oxygen after the red light therapy. Every once in a while, when I’m feeling super fatigued, I’ll come in and I’ll get the energy vitamin shot. It’s got B12 vitamins in it, and the whole thing takes like three to five minutes. I come in feeling on empty, but I leave feeling full and focused and ready to go about my day.
How do you feel now?
I’ve been a member at Degree for about six months now, and it’s made a significant impact in my life by increasing my energy and my focus. I’ve always been a morning person and felt pretty good about the first part of my day, but that second part of my day, I always felt a little sluggish. Now that I’ve been incorporating a wellness routine at Degree into my everyday life, I’m a much better husband and a much better father. I’m more present at family dinner and able to really play with my kids in the evening. It’s been great.
Cut Thru Brain Fog and Fight Fatigue
Energy and focus treatments at Degree Wellness are technology-driven self-care sessions, including oxygen therapy, cold plunge, red light therapy, an Energy IV and an Energy Shot, that guests use to support daily energy, alertness and mental clarity as part of a wellness routine.
When your energy dips and focus feels harder to maintain, it’s often a sign your body is running depleted, whether from stress, sleep deprivation, nutrient gaps, or reduced oxygen delivery. These factors can impact mental clarity and sustained stamina, making it harder to stay sharp, productive, and present throughout the day. Common contributors include:
- Stress & burnout
- (Peri-) menopause
- Poor sleep quality
- Thyroid dysfunction
- Nutrient deficiencies
- Chronic anxiety
Top 3 Services for Energy & Focus
Not sure where to begin? Many guests pair one service with one nutrient in the same visit.
Cold plunge is the quickest reset, at three to five minutes of cold immersion. Red light therapy is a fifteen-minute session in front of two full-length light walls. Oxygen therapy is the calmest of the three, pairing up to 95% pure oxygen with herbal aromatherapy. Prefer to support your routine from the inside out? Add an Energy IV or an Energy Shot. Want to add heat to the routine? A 45-minute infrared sauna session stacks well with red light therapy in the same visit.
Your studio team can help you choose based on your goals and how much time you have.

Energy & Focus FAQs
What treatments at Degree Wellness support energy and focus?
Degree Wellness groups five technology-driven self-care options under energy and focus: oxygen therapy, cold plunge, red light therapy, the Energy IV and the Energy Shot. Guests use them to support daily energy, alertness and mental clarity as part of a wellness routine. Your studio team can help you choose based on your goals.
What is an Energy IV?
The Energy IV is a nutrient-rich IV drip offered as part of Degree Wellness Advanced Nutrients. It is designed to support cellular energy production, mental clarity and sustained focus. IV drips are delivered in the studio IV Lounge, and a private suite can be requested subject to availability.
Can I combine more than one service in a single visit?
Yes. Many guests stack services and nutrients in one visit, such as red light therapy with an infrared sauna session, or cryotherapy with a nutrient shot. Guests may enjoy one of each service per day and up to three Advanced Nutrients, following manufacturer and safety guidelines.
How often should I visit for energy and focus?
It depends on your goals. Some guests visit weekly and others come more often. There is no single recommended cadence for energy and focus, so the studio team can suggest a rhythm that fits your routine, your schedule and the services you enjoy most.
How does a cold plunge fit into an energy routine?
A cold plunge involves immersing your body in cold water for three to five minutes. Many guests use it as a short, refreshing reset in the morning or between commitments, often paired with another service in the same visit. It is one of the quickest sessions on the Degree Wellness menu.
What is the difference between an Energy IV and an Energy Shot?
The Energy IV is an intravenous nutrient drip designed to support cellular energy production, mental clarity and sustained focus. The Energy Shot is a fast-acting B12 injection that supports energy production, mental clarity and stamina in a much shorter visit. Both sit under Advanced Nutrients rather than under studio services.
How long is a session at Degree Wellness?
Session length varies by service. Most experiences range from 10 to 45 minutes depending on what you choose. A cold plunge runs three to five minutes and a red light therapy session runs about 15 minutes. Your studio team will confirm timing when you book or arrive.
Do I need a membership to try these services?
No. Memberships offer the best value, but guests are always welcome to book a single service, a package, an IV drip or a nutrient shot without a membership. First-time guests can start with the Degree Wellness intro offer and add a nutrient to the same visit.
Degree Wellness services are designed to support general wellness and self-care. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Guests should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new wellness therapy.
